Supplier Assessment

Molymet has a Corporate Supplier and Contractor Policy that defines sustainable development principles for the supply chain of inputs and services. The objective of this policy is two-fold: to build long-term partnerships that add value to our processes and products and to encourage our stakeholders to adopt sustainable practices in order to involve them in Molymet’s management systems.

The guiding principles of the supplier policy are

Business integrity

Equal opportunity

Responsible business practices

Human rights

Quality

Health and safety

Active communication

Conflict of interest

Confidentiality and intellectual property

Value creation

Environmental responsibility

New suppliers providing services at MolymetNos must undergo a social impact assessment in accordance with the subcontracting law. They are assessed from an environmental perspective once they have finished providing the service.
In 2021, 91 suppliers were examined based on social and environmental criteria, representing 60% of all suppliers and 7.2% of total purchases for the year.
Our subsidiaries worked throughout 2021 to define sustainability criteria to be used in assessing suppliers.
