Molymex (located in Sonora, Mexico) was acquired in 1994; it has a processing capacity that amounts to 28 million pounds. Among its main products and services, we can find technical molybdic oxide (powder and briquettes), sulfuric acid and concentrate cleaning.

One of the most important distinguishing features of the company is its commitment to environmental care, thanks to which, it has been awarded several certifications and acknowledgements, such as the Mexican Clean Industry certification; the Integrated Management System, which includes Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health Management; and the Environmental Excellence (in 2016, 2017 and 2018), the highest award granted by PROFEPA to companies that go beyond legal compliance.
